Enable task manager is a great tool. It enabled the Task Manager of a friends computer after a virus disabled it. It worked flawlessly and the interface was a no brainer.

I tested Enable Task Manager on a Windows XP Home system that had an issue with Task Manager not appearing on any newly created "limited user" or even newly created Admin accounts. I applied the ENABLE TASK MANAGER and it was able to correct the error to the freshly created Admin level account, but it had no effect on the error for the limited user accounts, old or newly created. Since this system was once invaded by some virus, it may have suffered irrepairable damage, or it could have inherited some new DWORD value that cannot be located. So except for this, I suppose Enable Task Manager would have been a very useful tool. In spite of this failure, I still give the utility "two thumbs up".

I found it very effective. It can be improved by making it RAM resident and alert user whenever some trojan or spyware tried to disable task manager. The software should point out what trojan or spyware is doing this. A very good tool in the end.
